Scope

Tracel is a clipboard productivity tool for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This policy explains how the app processes information when you use Tracel.

Information Tracel Processes

Tracel processes clipboard text, links, code, file references, and images that you copy. It also stores pinned and favorite status, categories, custom types, app settings, your selected history retention period, and the number of free clipboard captures used. Clipboard content may include personal or sensitive information that you choose to copy.

How Information Is Used

This information is used only to provide clipboard history, search, content classification, synchronization, copy and paste, subscription entitlement, and app settings features. Tracel does not sell personal information or use clipboard content for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Local Storage and iCloud

Clipboard history is stored in Tracel’s local app data. When you enable iCloud, history may be transmitted using encryption and stored in your private iCloud space to sync across your devices. Tracel does not upload clipboard content to cloud storage operated by Tracel.

Subscriptions and Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Tracel receives only product information, verified transactions and subscription entitlement status, and offer eligibility. Tracel does not receive your full payment card information or Apple Account password.

Tracel includes a limited number of free clipboard captures and offers annual and monthly subscription options. Actual pricing, trial availability, and offer eligibility are shown on the App Store system purchase screen. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Information Sharing and Third Parties

Tracel does not include third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. Information is processed by Apple services only to the extent necessary to provide features such as iCloud synchronization, App Store purchases, and operating system functions, and is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Retention and Deletion

Clipboard history is retained until you delete it or it is automatically deleted under the retention period you select. You can delete individual records or delete all history in Settings. Deletions may sync through iCloud. Uninstalling Tracel removes local app data; iCloud data remains subject to your iCloud settings and Apple’s retention processes.

Your Choices

You can disable Tracel’s iCloud access in system settings, change the history retention period, delete history, manage clipboard permissions provided by the operating system, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Tracel does not maintain a separate account system and does not store clipboard content on servers operated by Tracel.

Security, Children, and Policy Updates

Tracel uses Apple’s app sandboxing, purchase verification, and private iCloud storage capabilities to protect data. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security. Tracel is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children below the minimum age required in their country or region.

This policy may be updated when Tracel’s features or legal obligations change, and the last-updated date will be revised. If a future version introduces a new service that processes user data, this policy will be updated first to explain its purpose, and consent will be obtained where required.
